Tips to Creating a Photographic Website

A global web resource for all things photographic manufacturer, I think I know a few things about photography website, like I am well aware that last year I (links populating takes a while) in visited a large amount, so here is my tips on what you do and do not need when making your photo website.

Do something:

1) My biggest photography (websites and many others I have talked to agree) on the pet peeve of music on a site, it is rare that in many cases enjoy your portfolio and improves people actually stop will close (I know I immediately closed the website) would like to. If you think this will clear it easily and how to please switch off. Many people surf the web whilst listening to music will remember!

2) Photium or Foliopic as those produced by normal website, great when you need a website, but after a while you get the websites they are very formulaic, looking at it for my photography business are a website so it is definitely worth investing in a professionally designed site is specific to your business.

3) Flash! No I do not mean on your camera. Now I understand that the images of a good way to prevent being ripped off (although it is not easy), it means people how their site to see how they do not want and as an artist can feel good while, it can become frustrating. Apple and Adobe running wrangles with many people view your site will struggle. Flash has its uses, but I would steer clear, HTML sites always work, may not flash.

What else

1) Put some indication of where you are located, for photographic work to many people want to find them locally, if they can not figure out where you can either lose business or get calls from people based that you can 't help. It is a simple solution and will benefit in the long run.

2) Use your best work, I think you people who keep some very poor pictures online will be amazed by the amount, but the large size of some less Res make them look blocky and poor can be, others just not well, out of focus or with no real focus, the website, your window will be displayed to the world, it's an attractive display.

I have visited websites of the 3) is surprising how many actually not to mention the fact that a) they have a photographer or b) they are experts (mainly for the professional photographer, but a also a good idea), people who you are and tell you what to do! Also useful search engine optimization service your own photo website, the key word is repeated throughout.

I have too many good photographers looked down by poor photos to build websites and it is a shame. Golden rule to keep it simple and clear, black or white (or other muted colors) are usually good, you did not finish talking picture, is not condescending or garish colors. But remember to select your best work, and people photographer, as well as work know.
